The rotary evaporator is used in extraction laboratories for the efficient and gentle distillation of sample solvents by evaporation. Rotary evaporation is most frequently and conveniently applied to separate “low-boiling” solvents, such as butane or ethyl alcohol, from compounds that are solid at room temperature and pressure.

Our 2L Mr.Hide Extracts® rotary evaporator (capacity of the evaporating flask) comes with a container for the heating of distilled water, vertical glassware and digital control of temperature and rotation. The rotating system is equipped with the electric flask rising and falling, allowing optimal and rapid heating times. The condenser has a glass tube in the form of a serpentine specially designed for a larger surface area, in this way it is extremely efficient. Another important aspect of the Mr.Hide Extracts® rotor are the safety features, overheating protection of the distilled water container and protection with fuses.

The distilled water container operates from room temperature to 392 º F with PID temperature control in increments 32,18 º F and contains heating coils located directly inside the container.
